Broken BowMarch 17. Elevation normal, water 52. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, spinnerbaits and crankbaits at 10-15 ft. around brush structure, standing timber and weed beds. White bass good on crankbaits, spinnerbaits, grubs and in-line spinnerbaits at 5-10 ft. along channels and riprap. Walleye good on bill baits, rogues, crankbaits and in-line spinnerbaits at 5-10 ft. along channels and riprap. Crappie fair on grubs and minnows at 10-15 ft. around brush structure and standing timber. Channel and blue catfish good on chicken liver, worms, stinkbait and punch bait at 10-20 ft. along creek channels and the river mouth. March 11, 2015 Fishing Report – stocking of trout on March 6

Lower Mountain Fork: March 8. Elevation normal, water 48 and clear. Trout good on nymphs around rocks and creek channels. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

Lower Mountain Fork: March 10. Stocked 2,208 lbs., approximately 1,898 rainbow trout on March 6. Report submitted by April Drake, secretary at the Southeast Regional Office.

Lower Mountain Fork: March 1. Elevation normal, water 48 and clear. Trout good on midges in the creek channels, discharge and rocks. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.

Broken Bow: Elevation normal, water 48. Walleye good on crankbaits, rogues and sassy shad at 10 ft. along channels, rocks and riprap. Smallmouth bass good on rogues and plastic baits at 10 ft. along riprap and the river channel. Channel and blue catfish good on worms, stinkbait and shrimp at 15-20 ft. along creek channels and the river channel. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.
