Lower Mountain Fork Fishing Report Feb. 22, 2015

Lower Mountain Fork: February 22. Elevation normal, water 49 and clear. Trout good on midges and small lures at 3 ft. along rocks, creek channels, Cold Hole, Evening Hole and Lost Creek. February 18, 2015 Fishing Report

Broken Bow: February 15. Elevation below normal, water 52. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass slow on crankbaits, jigs and plastic baits at 15-25 ft. around brush structure, standing timber and points. Walleye good on bill baits, spoons, rogues and worms at 10-15 ft. around points, rocks and the river channel. Channel, blue and flathead catfish good on crawfish, worms, stinkbait and live bait at 20-25 ft. along the river channel, river mouth and riprap. White bass slow on slabs at 30-35 ft. in the main lake. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.
