August 6 Fishing Report Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation

Broken Bow: August 3. Elevation normal, water 78. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted
bass fair on Alabama rigs, plastic baits and jerk baits at 20-25 ft. around brush
structure, standing timber and riprap. Crappie good on jigs, spoons and tube jigs
at 15-20 ft. around brush structure and standing timber. Channel catfish good on
 worms, stinkbait, punch bait and chicken liver at 15-20 ft. in channels, the river
mouth and river channel. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in

Lower Mountain Fork: August 3. Elevation normal, water 67 and clear. Trout good
on nymphs and Power Bait along rocks and spillway. Report submitted by Mark Hannah,
game warden stationed in McCurtain County.
